Dr Satpal Singh Shekhawat
Dr Satpal Singh Shekhawat, graduated from Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. He then moved to UK in 2005 and completed his GP training in Northern Lincolnshire. He became a Member of Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009 and was awarded Fellowship of Royal college of General Practitioners in 2021.He has completed Master of Studies in Clinical Medicine from Cambridge University in 2024. He has special interests in Musculoskeletal system and minor surgical procedures, and he is competent in looking after long-term conditions.
Dr Shekhawat has been an educator since 2010 and has been training GP trainees to qualify as GPs and he is an Honorary senior lecturer at Hull York Medical School and teaches year 4 medical students at his NHS practice. He has been senior partner at Kirton Lindsey and Scotter practice and has served in various leadership roles in the region. He was Medical Director of North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group from October 2018 till August 2022, and he has learnt a lot about clinical leadership and management in this period. Dr Shekhawat has been working as a GP partner In Kirton Lindsey and Scotter surgery for over 15 years and he is rated as an excellent GP. He was the winner of “Best GP of the year award” for 2023 at the Northern Lincolnshire GP federation awards.

Dr Tahira Cheema
Dr. Tahira Cheema is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner with a deep commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare to her patients. With a wealth of experience and expertise, she is passionate about addressing a wide range of medical needs, particularly in the areas of women’s health, dermatology, minor surgery, and learning disability patient care.
Having earned her MBBS degree and subsequently obtaining qualifications such as MRCGP, DRCOG, and DFSRH, Dr. Cheema demonstrates her unwavering dedication to excellence in primary care. Her extensive training and continuous pursuit of knowledge allow her to deliver evidence-based and patient-centred care.
Dr. Cheema has a special interest in women’s health, with a focus on contraceptive options such as coils, pessaries, and contraception counselling. She is dedicated to empowering women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and provides personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

DR Rana Maqbool Ahmad
Dr Rana Maqbool Ahmad is a General Practitioner who is fully committed towards achieving best health outcomes for patients. He has worked as a General Practitioner in North Lincolnshire since 2015, and is a GP partner at Kirton Lindsey & Scotter Surgery since 2020.
He is experienced in providing comprehensive care for people with a variety of health needs and backgrounds. He expertise includes primary care for patients at all stages of life, from early childhood to late old age.
He is wholly devoted to meet both physical and mental health needs of his patients. He strives to understand and respect the context of his patients’ living, aiming for the most holistic care possible.
He has been the prescribing lead within the Care Commissioning Group, and has also served as member of Area prescribing committee. He is also a board member of south primary care network.
He has a special interest in treatments for musculoskeletal health, including joint injections. He received an appreciation award from Safecare network GP federation for his contribution to patient care doing Covid pandemic. He is also a GP trainer. He takes active interest in local community and charity projects, and is a keen cricketer.

Dr. A. Mahroof
Dr. A. Mahroof is an experienced and dedicated GP who provides holistic, personalised care to help patients reach their health goals. Alongside chronic disease management he specialises in weight loss management, sports and musculoskeletal (MSK) medicine, mental health, and minor surgery, including joint injections.
A former boxer and keen fitness enthusiast, Dr. Mahroof understands the importance of staying active and overcoming physical challenges. His patient-centered approach focuses on keeping individuals healthy, active, and pain-free.
He also prioritises mental well-being, recognising its close connection to physical health. By treating the whole person, Dr. Mahroof empowers patients to take control of their health and achieve their best selves.

Dr Avinash Haridas Pillai
Dr Pillai has been a GP in North Lincolnshire since 2007. He graduated from the University of Sheffield, UK in 2001. He achieved a merit when he became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) in 2007 and was then awarded a fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2022.
He further specialised in cardiovascular medicine obtaining a distinction in Cardiovascular Medicine Pg Diploma, Sheffield Hallam University in 2011. He is a passionate educator in his roles as a GP trainer and HYMS accredited honorary lecturer since 2009.
He is an advocate for modernising health care delivery by way of IT innovation leading to 2 HSJ award nominations (the standard for healthcare excellence) and taking lead roles locally as IT Lead for North Lincolnshire CCG, which then led to working for NHS England as the Regional Digital Primary Care Clinical Lead for Humber, Coast and Vale (HCV).

Dr Ajay Vora
Dr Ajay Vora served as a General Practitioner at Barnetby Private Medicals for more than 25 years before retiring from the NHS.
As the sole GP, he worked alongside Nurse Practitioner Angela Vora – his wife – to run the practice. Together, they created a welcoming yet efficient environment, which was reflected in consistently high patient satisfaction scores. Their dedication to quality care even attracted attention from the local press, radio, and television, including a feature on BBC Panorama.
In 2014, after a quarter of a century of service, they retired from the NHS. Today, their team operates Barnetby Private Medicals in Brigg, continuing to deliver the high standard of care that became the hallmark of their NHS practice. We are very excited to have Dr Ajay Vora on board at Inspire Health.

Dr Sean Chathley
Dr Sean Chathley is an experienced GP with a special interest in medical and surgical dermatology and aesthetic skin health. He combines over twenty years of medical experience with a genuine passion for helping patients feel confident in their own skin. After graduating from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Dr Chathley moved to the UK in 2005, completing specialist training in psychiatry and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2009. His background in mental health, together with training in CBT and EMDR, gives him a unique, holistic understanding of the link between appearance, confidence and wellbeing.
With a passion for aesthetic medicine, Dr Chathley has completed a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (2025) and advanced training in polynucleotides, skin boosters, PRP therapy, Microneedling, lip enhancement, facial contouring, and using medical grade cosmeceuticals for acne, hyperpigmentation and rosacea. He has recently completed a course in chemical skin peel treatments and his qualification level has evolved to FRCGP.
