Our Services

Hijama Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy offers a natural, non-invasive approach to restoring balance and supporting long-term well-being. At Inspire Health, the service is led by a qualified medical professional specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, who is also a Certified Hijama Practitioner. This combined experience allows for a safe, informed, and medically grounded approach to holistic treatment.

healing method

This therapy is rooted in the principles of Hijama, an alternative healing method used to support detoxification, pain relief, and general health optimisation. The technique involves placing specialised cups on specific areas of the body to create gentle suction. This process helps draw out stagnant blood, toxins, and impurities, encouraging improved circulation and promoting natural cellular renewal. By clearing blockages and stimulating the body’s own healing mechanisms, cupping supports physical, mental, and emotional balance.

why choose cupping therapy

Patients choose cupping therapy for a range of reasons, including relief from muscular tension, chronic discomfort, stress, and fatigue. Because the treatment supports the body’s circulatory and lymphatic systems, many also use it to enhance general wellness and maintain long-term vitality. With a strong foundation in medical science, the service blends clinical understanding with a holistic approach, ensuring each treatment is delivered safely and tailored to individual needs.

Frequently asked questions about Hijama Cupping Therapy

Is Hijama cupping therapy painful?

The removal of blood through suction itself is completely painless for most patients, but depending on your pain threshold, you may experience a ticklish sensation or what resembles faint paper cuts.

Is Hijama cupping therapy safe and hygienic?

Hijama cupping therapy is safe and hygienic, we use sterile, single use supplies for each patient. After the therapy is completed, the cupped points are wiped, and as they close up quite quickly, there is no need to apply a wound dressing. We will also provide aftercare advice on how to take care of your skin whilst it is healing.

How long will the bruises remain on my skin?

The redness from the cups should start to fade within 48 hours, and the scratches can take around 14 days to heal.
